Dorothy Oberdick, CRP
Paralegal

Dorothy Oberdick began at IFMK Law as a paralegal intern while completing her Paralegal Certificate in Spring 2023. She later joined the staff as a paralegal/legal assistant for the Personal Injury, Jail and Corrections Litigation, and §1983 Civil Rights Defense practice areas. Dorothy was promoted to a full-time paralegal in April 2025 and primarily supports the defense litigation practices in the Northbrook office.

Prior to working in municipal defense litigation, Dorothy began her legal career in 2018 at a landlord-tenant practice in San Diego, California. After moving back to Illinois in 2020, she joined the post-judgment department at a collections law firm in Vernon Hills, Illinois, while pursuing her Paralegal Certificate.

Dorothy is an avid baker and enjoys reading in her free time.
